At Temple First Church, we believe that community is an important part of the Christian faith. There are lots of ways to get plugged into our church community. Check out our programs below to see how you and your family can get plugged in.

CORE Groups are smaller age appropriate gatherings where we study the Word of God in depth. We have CORE Groups that meet prior to the Sunday Morning Service at 9:30am and also on Wednesday Nights. There are two adult CORE Groups on Sundays- one is meeting in the fellowship hall and the other in the sanctuary. The Children and Youth have CORE Groups that meet on Sunday Mornings as well.

Currently during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are online for our adult Wednesday Night CORE Group. This takes place every Wednesday at 6:30pm on our

YouTube Channel

Every Sunday at 10:45, we come together as a congregation to worship the Lord and to hear the message that God has laid on our pastor's heart. This takes place in the sanctuary and everyone is invited! We are currently taking precautions to keep everyone safe during Covid-19.

The Well is our student ministry for grades 6-12. On Sunday mornings at 9:30am, we have our CORE Group in the youth room located in the Family Life Center (a.k.a. the gymnasium)!

On Wednesday nights, The Well meets at 6pm. We have a multi-site ministry; we travel between Temple First Church of the Nazarene and Belton Nazarene Church (about a 15-minute drive). It's best to show up by 5:45 so that your student is on time to ride the van over to the other site or, if we're at Temple that night, they'll be early to hang out with friends!

Older adults sharing in service. The CORE Group associated with this ministry meets at 9:30am on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary.
Usually, once a month, our Oasis ministry has a luncheon. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are not participating in this activity during this time.

Inspiring Hope Kids is our children's ministry for grades Kindergarten-5th. We meet on Sunday Mornings for CORE groups next to the fellowship hall at 9:30. We also meet during the service for children's church. The kids are dismissed after worship in the service where they go meet together to hear a Bible lesson from our leaders. After the church service is complete, parents can pick up their kids from the rooms located next to the fellowship hall.

If you have preschool or infant children, we also have a nursery available during our Sunday service.

Every year we host an Upward Basketball and Cheerleading league. Details for this 2021's Upward Season are still to be determined, but to register as a participant or as a coach or referee, click the Upward tab in the website menu.
